About Us

Bumble Tree was born when two moms, Tanis and Bridie recognized the need for unique, eco-friendly options for baby and children essentials in Cranbrook. 

As the business grew, they hired a few employees, myself being one of them. After working for them for a couple of years, the option to buy the business came up and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to run such a fun business and continue to offer exceptional products to our amazing customers! So on March 1, 2011 the business switched hands and I look forward to continuing in Tanis and Bridie's foot steps and taking the business in exciting new directions while staying true to the exceptional products and customer service that Bumble Tree is known for! We love to hear from our customers and your product requests and suggestions are always welcome!

About Megan:

I was born and raised in Cranbrook and am happy to have this opportunity to do business in my hometown while raising my family here. I have two young daughters and it is through them and our daily lives that I am inspired to seek out unique, safe and educational products. 

It is wonderful to have a job that you love to go to everyday.  One of my favourite things to do is to help someone find the perfect gift for their loved one.  It is nice to see a customer going out the door feeling confident in their purchase and excited to give it.  I also love getting to watch the miracle of pregnancy and birth again and again as I meet many customers early in their pregnancy and then meet their babies and see them as they grow into vibrant young toddlers and on.
